About
Gong Xuni, born in Chongqing, China, is a freelance illustrator based in Singapore. She graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2014 and from the Illustration Department of Savannah College of Art and Design in 2017. She is a member in the Society of Illustrator and the Japan Illustrators' Association. Her commercial illustration markets currently include books, packaging, cultural and creative advertisements, and board games. She has collaborated with clients such as Taobao, Starbucks, Johnnie Walker, BYD, Culture Trip, Huawei, Science Fiction World Press, Lumen Éditions, and Meliá Hotels & Resorts.
Her commercial work style primarily features line art and traditional Eastern elements, which stems from her longstanding love for Eastern culture and art. In her personal creations, she maintains an open attitude and hopes to incorporate more interesting content, such as Eastern philosophical thoughts, Cthulhu mythology, and unconscious exploration through personal dreams.
In July 2024, she was invited to join the Asian Art Association Singapore (Illustration).
