Jose Elgueta is a Chilean illustrator based in Santiago. He is a graphic designer, completely dedicated to painting, illustration and muralismo.In constant effort to develop his graphic and pictorial expression, with deep interest in the Latin-American shamanic themes. He has created his own language of forms and colors of a world unexplored by others. He started in the year 2003 painting murals by himself and in collaboration with other artists. Throughout his self-guided journey he has participated in various art exhibitions, with both digital and physical paintings, which has provided him the experience needed to earn his place in the contemporary art world. The Washington Post, Expo 2020 Dubai and the Team Chile have invited him to create works.

He was invited in Global Artist Committee of Asian Art Association in Sep 2022 and be judge for World Heritage Painting Competition 2023.

My interest as a graphic artist is to put digital illustration on the same level as analog art, looking for new exhibition formats that will put digital art on a level 1 of 1.
