Emerging Digital Artist / China

About

Liu Ruoshan is an emerging digital artist with a Master’s degree in Digital Design and Communication from Italy. She currently serves as a university lecturer. Her creative practice focuses on digital art, AI-generated content (AIGC), interactive experiences, and virtual reality, exploring the integration of new media technologies into contemporary artistic expression. By positioning these cutting-edge tools at the core of her artistic narratives, she seeks to uncover their potential to evoke emotional resonance and inspire new forms of perception.
In her work, technology is not merely a means of creation but a bridge to deeper emotional and intellectual expression. Through generative imagery, immersive storytelling, and cross-media experimentation, she aims to transcend the boundaries of traditional art forms, offering audiences a multisensory experience that invites a renewed reflection on the relationship between self and the world.

Dedicated to advancing the convergence of art and technology, Liu Ruoshan is committed to pioneering new modes of artistic expression for the future.

In April 2025, she was invited to join the Asian Art Association Singapore (Digital Art and Technology).

Artist Statement

I firmly believe that visual art is a mode of perception that transcends language, evoking profound emotional resonance through color, form, and rhythm. Art is not merely an expression of aesthetics; it is a vital conduit connecting individuals to their inner selves and enabling a deeper understanding of both self and the world. My current interests focus on the intersection and integration of AIGC, digital art, interactive experiences, virtual reality, and art therapy within the field of new media. I am committed to breaking the boundaries of traditional media through multisensory and multidimensional practices. By employing generative imagery, immersive storytelling, and cross-media experimentation, I seek to construct new artistic experiences that allow audiences to rediscover themselves and to explore the ever-shifting relationship between the self and the surrounding world through dynamic flows and interactions. I believe that the future of art will find a new equilibrium between technology and humanity, and that cross-disciplinary exploration and experimental practice are essential pathways to reaching that future.
