Artist Statement
My musical journey, as a saxophone player, began with a love of jazz and pop music. During my seven years in Germany, I not only learned the playing skills of saxophone, but also had a deeper understanding of the soul of music. Now, as a saxophone lecturer at UIC in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, I hope to pass on this enthusiasm to my students and my audience.
I firmly believe that music is not only the display of skills, but also the resonance of the soul. The process of learning and playing music must be based on love. Because if there is no listening and perception of music, how can you really play its charm?
In every performance, I try to make every note convey my emotion, so that the audience can feel the power of music. Music is a bridge connecting the soul, only by loving it, we can let more people feel its beauty.
