Zeng Xiaoming (Katherine), born in June 1985 in Yangjiang, Guangdong, China, has always demonstrated a lively and dynamic way of thinking since childhood. Although she majored in law and possesses a solid and rigorous legal background, she has always held a strong passion for beautiful things, especially for painting. Driven by her unwavering pursuit of art, she resolutely chose to cross the boundaries of her major and embark on a brand-new life journey about beauty and creation.

Since 2016, Zeng Xiaoming has officially begun to explore oil painting creation and has been self-studying for nearly ten years. In terms of realistic portrayal of figures and color expression, she has demonstrated an astonishing talent. Beyond painting, she often meticulously observes life, possessing an eye for beauty and transforming these observations into inspirations on the canvas. She is particularly fond of doodling and attempts to capture every beautiful moment in life with her brush.

Besides painting, she is also active in the field of hosting, having served as the host for many galas, conferences and large-scale events, demonstrating excellent language skills and stage presence. At the same time, she is passionate about dancing and is a member of the dance department of the Zhongshan Art and Culture Center in Guangdong Province, constantly exploring and growing in the multiple dimensions of art. Xiang Xiaoming is a versatile woman who combines rationality and sensibility. Between law and art, she is writing her own life story.

In May 2025, she was invited to join the Asian Art Association Singapore (Traditional Painting).

For me, art is the intersection of the soul and the material world, an unbridled primal tremor that language has yet to tame. When the brush touches the canvas, I always feel as if I'm performing some ancient ritual - not creating beauty, but deconstructing the truths of life that have been wrapped layer upon layer by modern civilization.

Art is never an answer but an eternal inquiry. There is always a blank space on my palette, where all the unfinished possibilities are kept. When the spotlight in the exhibition hall shines on the frame, what I expect is not praise but a stranger pausing in front of the painting for ten seconds - that moment of resonance outweighs the weight of all the trophies.
