Artist Statement

As a young guzheng performer and researcher, I am committed to exploring the contemporary inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese music. I hope to promote the cultural dissemination and international dialogue of the guzheng art through diverse paths such as stage performances, academic research, and teaching practices. Since I started learning the guzheng at the age of six, more than a decade of professional training has made me deeply realize that the vitality of traditional music lies not only in the inheritance of skills but also in integrating into the global cultural context with an open attitude. In recent years, by participating in international competitions such as the Nanyang International Music Competition and the World Guzheng Competition, I have personally experienced the vigorous vitality of Asian art exchanges and the cultural resonance of traditional music that goes beyond competition. In the future, I hope to use the guzheng as a boat to carry the Oriental wisdom of "harmony without uniformity" into the distance. May every soul that adheres to tradition and embraces the world be able to hear the sound of flowers blooming in their own artistic time zone.
