Since 2017, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Singapore has been the official supporter of the SICF. In 2019, Singapore's Minister for Education, Mr. Ong Ye Kung, further elevated the event's profile, while the 2024 Awards Dinner took the festival to new heights with the presence of Mr. Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, and Minister of State for Law and Order, as the Guest-of-Honour.
In 2025, SICF will also be included in the series of national celebrations to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Singapore's founding and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Singapore and China. Under the concept of “Culture Shapes our Singapore”, the Festival promotes cultural exchange and understanding among young people from around the world through a variety of art forms such as painting, music, dance, speech and martial arts.
Young artists and performers from around the world will gather in Singapore to showcase the fusion of traditional and modern arts. There will be a wide variety of activities, including an international music competition, a dance competition, a painting competition, cultural exchange sessions, art sharing and interactive workshops.
In addition, the SICF will also organize tours to Singapore's iconic attractions such as the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Sentosa Island, Universal Studios, etc. to give participants an in-depth experience of Singapore's natural and cultural charms. The Festival's Awards Dinner will be attended by government officials and diplomats from around the world, adding an international flavor to the event.
Whether you are a professional artist or an art enthusiast, the Festival invites you to join us and showcase your talent with friends from around the world.
