Compared to other countries, Singapore is only a tiny dot on the world map. But, there are still plenty of historical buildings and places in Singapore that is worth it to know about. As shown on my painting, this is the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which is also a unique and historical place in Singapore.It was founded at its present site in 1859 by the Agri- horticultural Society. It is honoured as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hence, it would definitely be a historical garden to be protected by us.

The Gardens is special to me. My great grandparents dated at the Bandstand which is why I painted it in. The black swan was notorious for chasing my grandmother to nibble at her dress. As a homeschooled child, I too have beautiful memories of laying on a mat to stare at the beautiful blue sky peeking out from the tree canopies. My most recent outing to the Gardens was on a rain-soaked morning, dressed in ponchos to take pictures of our national flower. Thanks to that trip, I can now present the Vanda Miss Joaquim proudly in my artwork.

Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris // Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris is a holy place pursued by people all over the world. Four years ago, the spire of the church collapsed in a fire. Many people stood by the side of the road and watched this world-class church being engulfed by the fire. This place that countless people pursued can be successfully restored as soon as possible, and the bell of the bell tower can ring again. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Great wall of China // The great wall integrally preserves all the material, spiritual elements, and historical and cultural information that carry its outstanding universal value. I choose to draw this picture because my parents were from China and I have also gone to China before. The great wall of China wall is 21,156km long and that is why it is famous. In 1644, the great wall was built as protection against war. During the process, many builders died because of falling boulders. After 25 centuries later, the wall was finally finished. The wall consists of 3578 million bricks and is now a good place to walk and jog. Thus, I feel that everyone should come and visit as it is a place rich with history and story. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Paris's Unknown Culture // The country I am drawing about is Paris, France. I chose to draw that particular country is because it has been my lifelong dream to visit Paris. With fashion designers and mordern buildings, it is widely believed that Paris are more for people into modelling. Though many people might visit Paris just to visit its iconic statue-none other than the Eiffel Tower, of course-there are other many hidden landmarks behind all the fashion and moderness. Although musems are usually found in historic countries -so they have more to show about their country-one might be shocked when they realise that there are actually a few musuems found in Paris! The 2 statues I drew came from Paris. The Statue of Liberty was also given to America by France! Window art, also sometimes found in musuems of Paris, are quite beautiful too, so that is why I choose to draw it beside the grey statue. Another reason is because colours and grey put together give out excellent results! The statue in the middle is drawn mainly with dots to show more details and texture. Though the picture right underneath the statue is small, it means a lot of things. From colourful drawings fading to black and white, they could mean a hateful world of war changing to a peaceful world of happiness. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

World Heritage // I chose Fujian tulou it because the colours are very beautiful and the shapes are round and cool Fujian tulou is a cearthen building are Chinese rural dwelling.Fujian tulou is unique to the Hakka in the mountainous areas in southeastern Fujian, China. They were mostly built between the 12th and the zoth centuries.A tulou is usually a most commonly rectangular or circular in configuration with very think load bearing rammed earth walls between three and five stories high and housing up to 800 people. Beautiful India // The artwork shows one of the most iconic landmarks in India, which is the Taj Mahal. It also shows Indian flowers and a beautiful Indian girl. There are also majestic elephants which has a huge cloth covered over it. All these combined, represents India, how beautiful it is. Hopefully, people are able to see the bright side of India as i think it has rich and beautiful culture and heritage. I used very vibrant colours with the goal of showing the cheerful spirit of India to everyone. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Lakeside melodies // The painting depicts the natural and cultural wonders of Asia through a breathtaking lakeside view. The imposing figure of Mount Fuji stands steadfastly in the distance, while the magnificent Great Wall of China meanders along green, grassy plains. A towering crane gazes at two figures with calm and serenity, delicate lotus flowers dotting the nearby lake, filling it with its grandeur. Though their visage remains hidden, the elegant clothing of the two individuals reflect the region’s rich and diverse cultural heritage of Asia. The Heritage in waves // My artwork focuses on Japanese history and heritage. It showcases the unique and beautfiul aspects of Japanese culture. I have incorporated famous buildings with waves and clouds that highlight the beauty and colour of the art piece. The pagoda in the centre shows the history of Japan, as well as the Fuji Mountain, and the native Japanese deers. I chose red as the theme of this artwork as it represents the Japanese flag and its breathtaking heritage. (Tree Art, SG)

一笔长城 // Both the Calligraphy Brush and the Great Wall come from China. I like China very much and I like to write Chinese characters. The calligraphy brush is an ancient Chinese writing tool. I want to use the calligraphy brush to draw the wonderful sight, the Great Wall of China! (Tree Art, SG)

The Forbidden City // It is named Forbidden City because access to the area was barred to most of the subjects of the realm.Even goverment officials and the imperial family were permitted only limited access. Only the emperor had the freedom to enter any section. Though it was a majestic building, the limited access had denied more people to appreciate its beauty and sophistication. Hence, I chose a solitude range of colours to bring out its loneliness despite its sovereignty status. I added tall trees around it to emphasize that perhaps the only ones who can truly admire the Forbidden City are not human beings, but the surrounding trees. (Tree Art, SG)

Preserving The Majestic Taj Mahal // I am attracted to the Majestic Taj Mahal because of its rich history and grand outlook. I hope to visit and see it with my own eyes one day and preserved this heritage in my memory. (Tree Art, SG)

The name of my artwork is "Weekends of Singapore Botanic Garden”. I drew the scene of joy in Botanic Garden on A3 paper with my color markers. Mom told me that the Singapore Botanic Garden is the only world heritage of Singapore. I like the Botanic Garden, it’s beautiful. I hope my drawing can show the harmony of humans and animals, and encourage everyone to cherish and protect the rainforest of Singapore.

Book of World Heritage Map // I believe that World Heritage Sites are places that have a special meaning to everyone. However, not everyone will have chance to travel most of the places so I decided to draw a book that contains map of the some of sites that fascinate me. The Leaning Tower of Pisa, Sydney Opera House and The Statue of Liberty are the places that came to my mind. Preserving World Heritage // As the world evolved, with pollution, countless heritage sites are in danger of being destroyed by human mankind. In order to preserved these precious UNESCO sites for future generations, the scientist attempts to create replicas of them.Traveling around the world to exotic country with iconic heritage UNESCO has also been a dream. The scientist showcases a series of UNESCO Heritage consisting of Statue Of Liberty, Great Wall Of China, The Moais, Stonehenge, The Sphinx and Pyramids of Giza.Wishing these heritage sites will be able to be continue being showcase from generations to come. Mexico // In southern Mexico City, a gritty working-class neighborhood gives way to the famous canals of Xochimilco, the last remnants of a vast water transport system built by the Aztecs. Colorful gondola-like boats take visitors on cruises while food vendors, artisans, and mariachi bands float past. The atmosphere is festive, especially on weekends. Tourists can also visit the eerie, purportedly haunted island of the dolls. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Chines Culture // Chinese culture is interesting nowadays but there are still comparisons between Chinese accessories in the past and nowadays. People got into arguments and disagreements about wether these accessories are able to be use, some said that Chinese accessories must be similar to the past thus, it must be heavy and cultured, either some said it can be technologically improve instead of copying the past. So my artwork is about comparing Chinese cultured accessories in the past verses nowadays to see if the idea about it can be further improved. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Evening in paris // My work is about a romantic evening in Paris. The sun is setting, restaurant bustling with activity, beautiful flower being sold and the classic Effiel Tower in the distance next to beautiful pink trees and green bushes. On the street,ayoung couple is walking towords the Effiel Tower while some Parisians are having some bread,cheese and wine in a nearby restaurant. Opposite that restaurant, is a cafe closing up for the day, puddles on the street reflect the beautiful scenery of the parisian streets. Geisha // I choose Japan because i am impressed with how they speak and dress. Since the way they dress is really pretty, i want to learn more about the their traditional clothes. Japanese citizens are know to be very kind and helpful to one another. I would love to visit and have a taste of their food and culture one day. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

China // The picture i drew is a chinese-style pavilion in an ancient chinese building. There are also Chinese tea ceremony, Chinese ceramic art, and chinese dragons, all which are intangible cultural heritage. Although I did not see these before, I like them very much. the reason is that my mother is from China. I plan to go back to china to see more of this intangible cultural heritage architecture during the holidays this year. I must go to Beijing to take a look at the ancient building of the Tiahanmen Palace Museum and paint them during that visit. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

History in garden // My artwork is about the different famous monuments in history all in one garden. These monuments have an important making of world heritage. I chose some of the most famous monuments and structures such as, The Colosseum, Eiffel Tower, Singapore Botanic Gardens and Big Ben. They are all placed in a garden to symbolize the importance of these historical moments. These monuments should be admired to appreciate the work of our ancestors. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Garuda Pancasila // My artwork is about the culture of Indonesia. I chose this country because I was born in Indonesia and lived there for 11 years. Indonesia is famous for its volcanoes, beaches and jungles. Its architecture also reflects the diversity of Indonesia’s culture, such as the Borobudur Temple Compounds. It is a famous Buddhist temple located in Central Java. The walls are decorated with fine low reliefs. It was built in three tiers: a pyramidal base, the trunk of a cone with three circular platforms and a monumental stupa at the top. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of Buddha. There is also Indonesia’s national flower in my artwork. The woman in the center of my artwork is wearing a traditional costume of Indonesia. There is also some Batik designs at the lower part of my artwork. Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to the whole cloth. This technique is originated in Java, Indonesia. Indonesia also has an animal called the Komodo dragon. They are the largest and heaviest lizards in the world. There are also amazing views in Indonesia that I cannot see in Singapore. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Time and The Colosseum // I draw The Colosseumto because of its interesting ellipse architecture. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age. It was built under the emperor Vespasian in 72 AD and was completed in 80 AD under his successor and heir, Titus. Further modifications were made during the reign of Domitian. Although substantially ruined by earthquakes and stone robbers taking spolia, the Colosseum is still an iconic symbol of Imperial Rome and was listed as one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Echoes of the Past: The Roman Aqueduct of Segovia // My piece of art is featuring the Roman aqueduct of Segovia, a city in the autonomous community in Spain. This astonishing city is known for its historic buildings including The cathedral, The medieval castle and the artwork I made the Roman aqueduct of Segovia. It is a beautiful landscape which is why I made this piece of artwork. This piece of artwork was a challenge since I had to think of the shades of brown to use other colors I used were yellow and many more. I've chosen Venice as my theme to create awareness that due to climate change, this beautiful city may face the threat of disappearing. Apart from all its fame for all its renaissane unique architecture, the annual Venice Carnival is an internationally renowed event featuring elaborate costumes and lavish masks adorned with feathers and precious gem. The painting I've drawn is the representation of the iconic features to be found exclusively in Venice . It reminds us that we all have a part to play to preserve the beauty of Venice. The Pena Palace // I drew the Cultral Landscape of Sintea (Pena Palace), Portugal for its tall, beautiful buidlings left me amazed by the ability of humans, being able to create such wonderful buildings. Ancient City of Pingyao // Because the original city of Pingyao was founded in 9th century BCE. This ancient city was once the banking capital of China, as important during the Qing Dynasty as Wall Street is today. Although its financial power has faded, the city's impressive city wall and historic architecture is remarkably intact and i find it very interesting. The Pandas in my artwork showcase how the people from that time and era would have dressed and interacted with each other. Showing the community spirit and respect, reflecting onto chinese values. My artwork measures 29.5cm x 42cm and the art mediums I used are poster paint and colour pencils. My artwork features the UNESCO site, the Horyuji Temple, a Buddhist temple in Ikaruga, Japan. It was designated as a UNESCO world heritage site in Dec 1993. I like buildings and I really like that the oldest wooden structures in the world are in this temple. In my artwork, I also drew the Red Panda holding up the temple. Red pandas in Japan includes independence, security as well as nonchalance.

澳門世界遺產 // 教堂所代表的，是人们向往美好的祈愿，是心灵的寄托，是面对苦难的勇气，毅力在世界各地的教堂和庙宇，代表了人类精神文明的发展历程，是历史岁月不可磨灭的一部分。最具有代表性是澳門的媽閣廟，西方有天主大教堂，聖馬瑪麗亞等等作為人們的精神支柱，無論東西方，教堂所代表的，是人們嚮往美好的祈願，是心靈的寄託，是面對苦難的勇氣，屹立在世界各地的教堂和廟宇，代表了人類精神文明的發展歷程，是歷史歲月不可磨滅的一部分，保護這些世界遺產，就是保護人們的精神支柱。

Colours of Tradition: Yueju Opera // Yueju opera is a type of performance art that combines singing and fighting stunts, with fancy costumes and colourful face painting. The makeup helps the audience understand the character's emotions and personality. The stories they tell ranges from history to everyday life. Yueju opera is a part of our intangible cultural heritage. But sadly, it is not popular among young people. I hope that my artwork can help spread the word about this amazing part of our culture and that it will encourage more people to learn and appreciate it!

Unity and Heritage: Dragon Boat Festival Celebration
Dragon Boat Festival is my favourite festival. It is to honour poet Qu Yuan. According to legend, rice dumplings were thrown to protect Qu Yuan's body from the fishes. In the artwork, a family is making yummy rice dumplings together. Eating rice dumplings has since become a tradition to honour Qu Yuan's sacrifice and to symbolize unity. People also race dragon boats to commemorate him. The festival is an important tradition for Chinese people. I hope my artwork can help people appreciate our intangible cultural heritage!

Amazing discovery of the World Heritage's uniqueness. // World heritage are symbols of different countries and it is what makes that country special. Most of them are as old as hundred years and can be man-made or natural. Therefore, world heritage should be well protected and appreciated by the world of its uniqueness. However, there are still many people in the world who do not have the luxury to travel around the world and are not aware of most of them. City of Love // Paris, city and capital of France is like no other place on earth. It's beauty is indescribable. The amount of famous structures is astounding and is attracting many tourists there every year. Paris is rich in culture and art.Louvre Museum is the world's most visited museum and a historic landmark in Paris. It is the home of some of the best-known works of art, including the Mona Lisa.Eiffel Tower is a wrought iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, locally nicknamed "La Dame de fer". A Pearl in our hearts // The Botanic Gardens in Singapore contains a lot of my childhood memories and is one of the best gardens worldwide! Our precious garden heritage should be a pearl in our hearts, our home and our Singapore! I drew this artwork to raise awareness about how our small country can live up to have one of the best prized heritage sites in the world.The pearl represents the heart of the Botanic Gardens—the Bandstand,while the plants and little animals around represent how valuable the nature is to us. The beauty of UK // The outstanding beauty and unique architectural designs of the united kingdom buildings attract many people including me. So for the theme, “world heritage”, I wanted to capture the exquisite history and the amazing buildings, that help shape the UK into what it is today which is why I drew some iconic buildings in the UK such as big ben and the London bridge. I appreciate the fact that the buildings have a deep history behind them, like how the London bridge was first built in 1968 to 1972 and was opened to the public by Queen Elizabeth on 16 march 1973 and also how the day when big ben was appointed to be built was also the same year the New palace of Westminster was opened by Queen Victoria. Culture of China // My artwork is about the culture of China. In my artwork, it shows the lion dance as a way to represent how the chinese people celebrate things. The dragon is a mythical creature that has been the most important symbol of power in China. In China, the dragons are supposed to seem friendly and the bringers of good luck. During chinese New Year, the people would wear their traditional instrument on the right. During chinese new year, they also hang lanterns all around the houses. Their traditional clothing are also made from silk. The silk would be soft and have special designs on it. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

World Heritage // The beauty and richness of Chinese culture are captured in one stunning picture. A woman, dressed in a traditional Han Costume, holds the Nian, a legendary creature representing Chinese New Year. To her side, a fish and lotus-blossom combination express wishes of abundance and prosperity, while the Great Wall of China looms majestically in the background. This architectural wonder, built by Qin Shihuang during the Spring and Autumn period, stands as a testament to the strength and ingenuity of the Chinese people. And nearby, the Temple of Heaven, constructed during the Ming Dynasty, adds to the scene's grandeur. Together, these elements showcase the depth and diversity of China's rich history and culture. The Heritage of Italy // In this artwork, there are citizens of Italy collecting water in front of the Colosseum. Behind the Colosseum is the Leaning Tower of Pisa where it holds the state's public flag. Back in time, they need to come to the public to collect their drinkable and usable water, this shows teh history of Italy as now, we just need to turn on taps to get our water. The Colosseum was used to hold Olympic Games in teh past or watch a show or hold state meeting. In the drawing, I drew the remains of it to show that it has been there for a long time. Explore in Thailand // Inspired by the time I went to Thailand and I want to express how pretty Thailand is as a country is in my artwork. On the lake, I was on a raft sailing with a cat sleeping as we are about to go on an adventure in Thailand. I chose vibrant colours to fill the temples as i want it to stand out. There are a lot of different temples in Thailand that encapsulates the country's traditions. I filled the background with waterfall and mountains as thailand is surrounded with nature. As we adventure towards the mountains and trees, you can see a huge budda at the end of the river to appreciate and learn more of the thai's main religion as they are mostly thai. It is a also a heritage site. I thought Thailand is a great place and culture and I want to bring everybody on a journey to appreciate and explore this country with me. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

About China // I chose China because it is my hometown. Hu nan people like to eat spicy food and they have some delicious food such as Rougamo and xio lan bao. In china, there is a lot of pretty clothes and music especially during festivals. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Korea // My artwork is about Korea and i chose it because i like the culture. The clothes they wear and the make-up they put on is very pretty. I have never been to Korea beforfe but i watch and learn about their culture online. I want to visit Korea one day and experience it in real life as well as explore the temples and palaces. The old fashion hobby // A traditional folk dance characterized by the flexible dance of men's lower limbs. The Lusheng dance has a rich cultural heritage and is a beautiful expression of traditional folk dance. And the practice of sending messages through birds shows the ingenuity and resourcefulness of people in ancient times. The belief in the phoenix as the creator of birds is a wonderful myth that shows the profound imagination and spirituality of different cultures throughout history. Turkish Sites // This artwork is about places in turkey. It has many places that many people have never been before, so i drew some of the popular places in Turkey. Due to covid-19pandemic, many people could not travel. Thus, i wanted to draw turkey's environment and sites to show attract and influence people to go and visit the country and experience its culture and heritage. India Heritage // The country i drew was India . India is known for its amazing and complex architecture and its lively culture . Taj mahal is an example of it. The taj Mhal is famous for its beautiful landscape and amazing backstory. A long time ago , there was a couple and the male lover built the Taj Mahal to express his love for his girlfriend .Now, a lot of couples and tourists still visit the Taj Mahal, and some people even get married there. East Meets West // This is an artwork of the Grand Canyon and the Great Wall of China, two of the most majestic world heritage sites on earth.The Great Wall of China is located in Asia while the Grand Canyon is located in the West. The Forbidden City, Heart of China // The most famous imperial palace of China known as the Forbidden City is the biggest existing palace worldwide in terms of constructional buildings and coverage of acres. It is said the palace was constructed of 9999 premises at the beginning, that remains over 8000 under conservation today for tourists from all over the world to visit. The Palace had served two dynasties known as Ming and Qing for over 600 years, and had witnessed the prosperity and slumps of the history. The whole Palace is consists of dozens major pavilions for the royal family as their premises to work and rest and other advanced infrastructures back then as to accommodate the residents daily life. Journey to the Peaks: Exploring Huangshan and Lijiang // I am Rachel , a 8-yr old girl from China. Many friends of my parents had visited two famous heritage sites in China, Huangshan which is the most difficult mountain to climb and old town Lijiang which is still active commercially. In this painting, I had combined the breath-taking mountainous areas of Huangshan and the beautiful, well preserved ancient bridge of Lijiang. Acrylic was applied to show the magnificent rocks and picturesque cloud sea of Huangshan, while markers were used to express the vibrant color of the Bridge. One day, I wish I could climb up to those spectacular peaks with the valuable bridge from Lijiang. (Tree Art, SG)

Stepping into any World Heritage site evokes wonderment for nature and respect for history and culture. In a mythical slant, a red (colour of survival and supremacy) haired elf (symbolic of the ancient world) bestows the Stonehenge to humankind, represented by a dark-haired youth in all her ordinariness for protection and care henceforth. The human world with heritage treasures, the Taj Mahal and Mount Wuyi lies beyond amidst psychedelic rainbows and cosmic nebulae, alluding to colourful and turbulent times over the years. The preservation of our distant past for future generations celebrates values of resilience and endurance, humanity and aspirations.

Hi, my name is Melina, and I am 9 years old. My art piece is based off of the ‘Starry night’ by Vincent Van Gogh. Living in Singapore, I liked to draw the Merlion that represented this country. Freedom, my love! // World heritages enable us to know about other countries’ history. I went all over the world to visit different world heritages and I enjoyed the wonderful trip! One of my favourite world heritages is The Statue of Liberty. It’s torch lights the way to freedom showing us the path to Liberty. The official name of the statue is “Liberty enlightening the world”. New york is special // New York is a special state in USA. They are famous for the statue of Liberty. This statue is a personification of liberty in the form of a woman. She holds a torch and raised her right hand and clutches a tablet on her lefet. The statue of liberty is a 305-foot statue located on Liberty Island in upper New York City. I chose this statue as it is important and the sculptor, Frederic Auguste Barthodi put in a lot of effort to make it. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

The Fox Spirit and The Shrine Maiden // In Japan tradition, Kitsune, or The Fox Spirit, are often seen as tricksters or sometimes even powerful sorcerers who use their abilities for evil. Even so, they are known to keep their promises, repay any debts, and remember friendships. They are often found in shrines as shown in my drawing. As per the traditon, the shrine maiden in my drawing is worshipping the fox spirit to ward off evil. I used colourful colours to express Japan's vibrancy and festivities. I think that Japan traditions and myths are interesting and people should visit Japan and learn more about their traditions and heritage. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

Japan // Japan has a rich and unique culture that is steeped in tradition and heritage. One of the most iconic symbols of Japanese culture is the geisha, a skilled female entertainer who trains in music, dance, and conversation. Geishas have a long history in Japan and are known for their distinctive makeup, elegant kimonos, and graceful demeanor. They play an important role in preserving traditional Japanese arts and culture. Japan also has a strong reverence for nature and its many beautiful landmarks, such as Mount Fuji and cherry blossom trees that bloom every spring. (Let Colour Soar, SG)

My hometown // My artwork is about the local heritage of my hometown, Malaysia. There are several shophouses on the bottom of the paper. Next to the shophouses, there is a bus, in the colour pink to represent how unique the country is. A lion dance on the shophouses in the colour of bright red is a colour to represent luck. On special occasions, the. lion dance troop would arrive in malls to. wish people luck. A man pouring a liquid from one cup to another is often referred to as Teh Tarik. This is so that the drink can be cooled down before serving it to the customers. The twin towers and the KLCC are landmarks people often like to visit to take pictures and to explore. Spain // My artwork is about Spain. The instrument they usually play is a guitar which is why there is a guitar at the side. One thing that people in Spain like to do is dance. They wear fancy dresses or suits and then they will start dancing. I also drew one of Spain's famous buildings and bridges. Traditional of Vietnam // My artwork is about food, flower, and building in Vietnam. Traditional food like pho, and traditional buildings are important to Vietnam. Pho is a Vietnamese food that is well-liked, and are served around the world. Also, the buildings I drew are the third most famous building in Vietnam. The lotus represents Vietnam's flower and is known as the flower of the dawn and is the symbol of purity, commitment, and optimism for the future. At night the flower closes and sinks underwater and rises at dawn. It's usually found in lakes and ponds throughout Vietnam. Vietnam is a special place I would want to visit one day. Egypt // Egypt is a special place that many people around the world love to visit. It has old things that were built a very long time ago, like the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Valley of the Kings which is included in my drawing. I choose this few pictures because they are important as they show us how smart and creative the ancient Egyptians were. They also made important discoveries in medicine, math, astronomy, and building. Egypt has a really cool culture too, with music, dancing, and art that have been around for thousands of years. It is a traditional Chinese folk festival, The most solemn day of the year,an important day to reflect harmonious family and interpersonal relationships. It's content is rich and colourful with important historical, artistic and cultural value. Commonly known as Chinese New Year, the main activities of Chinese New Year include festive decorations and food-related entertainment. On New Year's Eve, every family will have a reunion dinner and keep the year old. In addition, Spring Festival couplets, New Year pictures and firecrackers will be posted. On the first day of the first lunar month, everyone will say New Year greetings to relatives and friends. It is an important festival worth remembering by all Chinese. When ourselves think about Xi'an, the first thing that comes to mind must be the famous scenic spot, the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of the First Emperor of There are a representative landmark in Xi'an, a symbol of Xi'an's culture, a symbol of generational achievements, the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units and China's world heritage. The discovery of these Qin figurines has enriched our understanding of the pottery figurine art of the Qin Dynasty, which is a sign of the epoch-making achievements of the modelling art of the Qin Dynasty. In my painting, I chose the Phoenix legend. Phoenix is a divine bird that brings happiness to the world and brings peace, happiness and beauty to the world. The Singapore Botanic Garden // The Botanic Garden is a secure, peaceful place. There are many trees and flowers there. The children in my drawing are in tree dwellings. Protecting the Moai // Gazetted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995, the hundreds of iconic Moai monuments located at Rano Raraku on Easter Island are remnants of an ancient culture that collapsed at the end of the seventeenth century as a result of successive catastrophes. The rapid and progressive increase in tourism over the years have led to this once remote island requiring better tourism management and protective measures to ensure these archaeological marvels remain well preserved for the future generation to enjoy these extraordinary monolithic statues. Saving The Iron Lady // The Iron Lady is the most common nickname for the Eiffel Tower. We should not litter rubbish onto the floor near it as the place would get dirty. The cleaner would have to work longer hours to clean the rubbish that is littered. The Eiffel Tower might not look good and the tourist might not admire it as much. However, we can prevent it from happening by going there with trash bag to pick up the litter that we see on the floor so that the cleaners will have lesser work and more people will enjoy the magnificent of Eiffel Tower when visiting. The Ryukyu Kingdom of Okinawa, Japan // This painting showcases one of the world cultural heritage sites - the Ryukyu Kingdom of Okinawa, Japan. The Ryukyu Kingdom was an important kingdom in Japanese history, known for its unique culture and traditions, and is often referred to as the "Hawaii of the East". In the painting, we can see the traditional red gates and stone paths of the Ryukyu Kingdom, as well as the traditional Ryukyu architecture with red tiles on the rooftop. The Great Wall of China // My drawing is about The Great Wall of China, one of the most famous landmarks with stretching over 13,000 miles through the northern part of China. The wall was originally build over about 2,000 years ago, during the warring period, as a series of smaller walls constructed by various Chinese states to defend against invades and protect the Chinese people living there and their culture. Today, it is recognized as a UNESO world Heritage sit. Its impressive scale and its tourical significance malie it a symbol of Chinese culture ingenuity, testament to human detemination and persevourance. China // When I think of China, there are a few iconic images that comes to mind. They are pandas, the Great Wall of China and the Buddha statue. The challenge is then putting them together in an artwork. Hence i chose the Buddha statue to be my background, while having the Great Wall Of China spread across the mid ground, and then having cute pandas all around.
