The work ``Sea of Flowers`` was taken on July 26, 2021 by Zhao Xiang at Shakou Road Subway Station, Zhengzhou. On July 20, 2021, Zhengzhou, Henan Province, was hit by heavy rainfall and severe waterlogging occurred in the Wulongkou parking lot of Zhengzhou Metro Line 5 and its surrounding areas, after which a large amount of water collapsed the retaining wall of the access line and flooded into the subway, forcing a train to stop between Shakou Road Station and Beach Temple Station, trapping more than 500 people and killing 14. While citizens spontaneously went to the entrance of Shakou Road subway station to lay flowers and memorialize the dead, the local government department erected a yellow fence around the subway entrance to block it. In the evening of July 26, author Zhao Xiang took aerial photos of the subway entrance with a DJI Mini 2 drone, which was later posted in his circle of friends and widely disseminated, causing a huge outcry. That night, angry citizens of Zhengzhou removed the barrier several times. The next day, the government was forced to open the fence; due to public pressure, the entire Zhengzhou metro senior staff went to the Shakou Road Shakou Road subway station to pay tribute to the dead, and arranged to designate a place for the public to lay flowers to pay tribute.
