World Heritage Photo Competition 2024

- The theme of this year's competition is "Explore and Embrace Diversity". Entries should show the diversity of the World Heritage sites and the richness of human, natural and cultural aspects through photography.

- Entries are open to photographers of all ages, nationalities and levels of experience. Participants must abide by the laws and regulations of their location.

- Entries must be original and related to the theme.

- The competition is divided into the following groups, and entrants are invited to submit their works according to the groups:

CULTURAL HERITAGE: This category includes photos of archaeological sites, historical monuments, and other cultural landmarks.
NATURAL HERITAGE: This category includes photos of natural wonders, such as forests, mountains, and deserts.
UNDERWATER HERITAGE: This category includes photos of underwater archaeological sites and marine life.
PEOPLE AND HERITAGE: This category includes photos of people interacting with their cultural and natural heritage.
CREATIVE EXPRESSION: This category is open to all types of photos that creatively capture the essence of world heritage.
DRONE PHOTOGRAPHY: This category includes photos taken from drones.

- There is no limit to the number of entries per participant and a maximum of 20 photographs of the same group may be submitted at any one time. If more photographs are to be submitted, multiple uploads will be required and multiple entry fees will have to be paid.

- The entries must not violate morality and ethics, and must not infringe on the rights of others, including but not limited to portrait rights and copyrights.

- Entries can be taken with digital cameras, film cameras or mobile phones.

- Participants shall submit their photos in the form of electronic files.

- The file format of each photo shall be JPEG or PNG with a resolution of not less than 3000 pixels.

- The file size of each photo shall not exceed 10MB.

- Each photo must have a title, location and a short description (no more than 100 words).

- All entries must be submitted by the specified deadline. All entries must be submitted by the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.

- Judging Criteria: The judges will consider and score the entries based on the aesthetic value of the photos, the expression and presentation of the theme, the use and innovation of photographic techniques, and the unique perspective and discovery of World Heritage.

- Prize Setting:

PLATINUM (1): S$99, T-shirt sponsored by the National Heritage Board of Singapore (NHB), Album featuring the winning entry, Certificate of Appreciation from the National Heritage Foud (NHF), Competition Certificate
GOLD (1): T-shirt sponsored by the National Heritage Board of Singapore (NHB), Album featuring the winning entry, Certificate of Appreciation from the National Heritage Foud (NHF), Competition Certificate
SILVER (2): T-shirt sponsored by the National Heritage Board of Singapore (NHB), Album featuring the winning entry, Certificate of Appreciation from the National Heritage Foud (NHF), Competition Certificate
BRONZE (3): Album featuring the winning entry, Certificate of Appreciation from the National Heritage Foud (NHF), Competition Certificate
OUTSTANDING (Others): Album featuring the winning entry, Certificate of Appreciation from the National Heritage Foud (NHF), Competition Certificate

- Please ensure that the information submitted is true and accurate. A handling fee of SGD 10 will be charged for each change of registration information (including but not limited to name, category, etc.) after the submission of the registration form.

- Participants retain the copyright of their photos, but grant the organisers the right to use the photos in collections, publicity, exhibitions, publications, etc. without payment of fees.

- Participants should ensure that the content of the submitted photos is true and accurate, and should not be falsified or created with the help of artificial intelligence. The organiser has the right to review the entries and any works found to be in violation of the rules will be disqualified.

- The organiser has the final right to interpret this activity. By registering for the competition, you agree to abide by the selection rules and the final results of the organiser's selection.
