Lope Encarnacion was born in the Philippines. He uses simple ballpoint pens to create intricate lines and create his characteristic 'monster' works. Most of his artwork is done in procrastination, but this does not stop his work from being striking and impactful.

He joined Global Artists Committee of Asian Art Association In August 2021.

Lope, in his childhood, initially studied art for fun, enjoying creating works with ordinary pen and paper drawings, and by winning a toy racing circuit of his own in a art competition. As he had been expelled from art school, he received very little formal training. (Lope is a very interesting artist and communicates with many friends on social media.)

Lope's choice of colour in his paintings depends on whatever material is available at the moment, and he takes inspiration from other objects, which over time has given his own character. As well as creating artwork, Lope also does graphic design for small businesses.
