ABOUT

Teresita Alicbusan Stamatelaky is a Filipino artist hailing from the beautiful and historically-rich province of Laguna, Philippines. She received her Degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts and Design from the Philippine Women’s University in 1993. Her first full time graphic design job may have started in 1993 but even before graduating in college, she has already had extensive experiences working part-time for a number of art studios in Manila.

Aside from working while studying, she also participated in a number of art exhibits proving just how passionate and dedicated she is to her craft. While other classmates are struggling with finishing up school works or projects, Teresita is already out there in the local art scene mingling with well-known artists, being invited to well-esteemed art shows, participating in art competitions, and getting herself known through her works.

A few years later, Teresita got married and became a mother of two beautiful children, She focussed on being a homemaker, nevertheless, she makes it a point to still let her presence be felt in the Art world.

Teresita is now residing in Singapore – as enthusiastic as ever to take part in a lot more events just painting, making Art, and fulfilling her lifelong dreams.

She was invited in Global Artist Committee of Asian Art Association in November 2020.
