Lend a Hand to those around you

World Charity Painting Competition 2023

· The theme of this competition is "Lend a Hand to those around you". The entries should be based on this theme.

· According to the age group, it is divided into Amateur Preschool Group (3 to 7 years old), Amateur Children Group (8 to 12 years old), Amateur Youth Group (13 to 17 years old), Amateur Adult Group (18 years old and above), Professional Youth Group (under 18 years old) and Professional Adult Group (18 years old and above).

· - Professional Youth Group refers to art students of professional art colleges and universities, secondary schools, elementary schools and junior colleges; Professional Adult Group refers to students and teachers of professional art colleges, art schools or comprehensive universities majoring in art.

· Scoring criteria: 60 Points for Creativity and artistry, 30 Points for Relevance to the theme, 10% for Creative language.

· Scoring method: The judges will be ranked according to their scores after comprehensive scoring.

· Among every 100 pieces of artworks, 5 Platinum Prizes, 10 Gold Prizes, 25 Silver Prizes and 60 Bronze Prizes will be selected. The competition also set up several awards for the best creativity, the best color, the best framing and the best mentor. The organizing committee has the right to adjust the number of winners according to the number of entries and the level of painting in each group.

· There is no limit to the number of works, please upload one work at a time, multiple works should be uploaded separately.

· Works can be expressed in any way and in any form.

· The size of the entry must be A3 (297mm x 420mm), both straight and horizontal.

· Entries must be in JPG or PNG format, with a resolution of no less than 300 dpi and a file size of no more than 10MB.

· Please submit a one-paragraph text description (minimum 30 words, maximum 100 words) in Chinese or English for each entry.

· Entries must be original and theft of others' works is strictly prohibited. If there is any infringement, the creator will be responsible for the legal responsibility and has nothing to do with the organizer, in addition to recovering the reward according to the law.

· Entries will not be returned and the organizer has the right to collect, exhibit and publish the winning entries after the final selection. The organizer reserves the right to license the entries to the Singapore Red Cross for the production and display of public service posters at SMRT and bus stations, social media platforms, and official websites, etc., under the condition that the entries are signed. The organizer is not required to pay any additional remuneration or royalty for the use of the posters.

· Please fill in the information on the top of the award and certificate of appreciation carefully, and contact the competition organizing committee immediately if there is any mistakes.

· The organizer has the final right of interpretation of this activity. By registering for the contest, you agree that you will abide by the rules and regulations and the final selection results of the organizer.
