ABOUT
Choy Kei Ivan is a commentator on current affairs in Hong Kong.
While studying business administration at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, he became interested in politics. In 1986, he served as the vice president of the Student Union of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and in 1987 as the president of the Student Union, and took elective subjects in the Department of Politics and Administration.
He is currently a senior lecturer in the Department of Politics and Administration of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a former lecturer in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the City University of Hong Kong.
He joined Global Artists Committee of Asian Art Association in 2020.
MEDIA COLUMN
In addition to writing academic books, Ivan has also commented on newspapers, radio and television, and has served as the host of political and television programs on television and radio. He has been awarded the "China Annual Column" by Tencent. Together with Huang Nianxin, he hosted the Hong Kong Radio and Television Department's reading program "Reading Decoding", which was broadcast from April to June 2008.
Ivan has published articles in major newspapers such as MingPao, Toutiao Daily, AM730, Eastern Weekly and Southern People Weekly. He is a current affairs agent for Hong Kong mainstream news channels such as Hong Kong Radio, Cable News, Now TV, TVB.
