ABOUT

Chinky Shukla is a Delhi based photographer working on photo research & documentation projects. Her work explores the themes of cultural assimilation, human condition, memory and the environment through her photography. It focuses on sparking public conversations on issues of humanitarian, environmental and cultural importance, which are often ignored or under reported by the mainstream media. The majority of her projects are long form photo stories looking through the layers, documenting lives, building relationships, gaining trust, using her camera to amplify their stories.

Chinky Shukla was invited in Global Artist Committee of Asian Art Association in June 2022.
