About

Komatsumoto Coco has been actively promoting Japanese food culture based in Hong Kong since 1995. She has been a part-time instructor at the Hong Kong Institute of Education and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and has taught more than 500 classes in Japanese food culture cooking.

In the media industry, COCO has been invited to host more than 200 episodes of cooking shows at ATV Hong Kong and demonstrated more than 300 home-style Japanese food. In addition, she has written nearly 50000 columns on Japanese food culture in newspapers and magazines in Hong Kong, and compiled books to promote Japanese cooking.

Coco has spared no effort in public welfare affairs, and has promoted healthy eating in different communities many times, including the "Healthy Eating in Kwun Tong" seminar organized by the Kwun Tong Healthy City Steering Committee, sharing healthy eating experiences, and participating in the Wong Tai Sin District Office Held "Drink and Eat on Campus in 2008" and served as the jury member of the "Parent-child Lunch Box Design Competition".

After a few years of moving to Shanghai with her husband, she now moves to Japan and continues to engage in the promotion and exchange of Japanese food.

She joined Global Artists Committee of Asian Art Association in 2020.

HONOR

In the 2011-2012 "Chinese Catering Person Award" election, Komatsumoto was awarded "Excellent Japanese Chef", which coincides with the 40th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between China and Japan. The first Japanese chef won this honor.
In 2011, I received an invitation from a Japanese SME base organization to register as an international support center under the Japanese official organization to become a consultant in Hong Kong. In 2012, Coco participated in the Japan Pavilion at the annual food expo held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition, assisted more than 2012 exhibitors from Japan, the partner country of the 160 Food Expo, and exhibited at a number of Japanese cultural performances. China assists all types of exhibitors on stage and has served as a consultant for 9 consecutive years.
