Igor Obukhov was born in Artem, the Far Eastern city of Russia in 1970, studied at the Vladivostok Art Institute from 1993 to 1997, studied at the Far Eastern National Academy of Fine Arts from 1997 to 2003, and served as the Far Eastern National University (FEFU) and Far Eastern National from 2003 to 2015 Associate Professor of Jiaotong University (FESTU). From 2003 to 2017, he was responsible for a course in the Department of Painting of the Far Eastern National Academy of Fine Arts, and served as an associate professor of graphics and graphics. Member of the Russian Art Union since 2006.

He joined Global Artists Committee of Asian Art Association In 2020.

Igor Obukhov's paintings have extraordinary charm and personal lyrical reflections, especially in response to our time: the need for the beauty and purity of life is not fulfilled-this is the eternal anxiety of the world.
