Jack Neo (Chinese name: 梁志强/梁智强) is a Singaporean director and actor. From 1990 to 2008, jack neo successfully created numerous legends in Singapore variety shows. With his distinctive Taiwanese hosting style, he stood out among Singapore's variety shows and created the oldest weekly variety show in the history of Singapore, "funny action", a variety show that many Chinese had to go home to see on Mondays.
Jack Neo's contributions and achievements in Singapore cinema are extraordinary. From not enough money, Singapore's highest-grossing film since the founding of the country, to not enough money 2, not enough money 2 (not enough money 2 has been shown in taichung's bandaifu cinema for 10 years (since 2009). Each of leung's films is beloved by singaporeans because the comedian was born with a great sense of humor and comedy. His film series "no child is stupid" has become a teaching material for primary school students in China. Run boy also won six international film awards.
Jack received the presidential medal from the President in 2004 and is the first Singaporean entertainer to receive the PBM. In 2005, he won the Singapore film culture award, a nationally recognized cultural award dedicated to those who have made special contributions to the arts.
He joined Global Artists Committee of Asian Art Association in 2019.
