ABOUT

Katya Klimova is a digital and mixed media illustrator in Serbia. She works with book and commercial illustration, creates personal projects: picture books, comic books and graphic series. Katya likes to work with characters mostly, loves to make up them, put them in different situations, find the right emotions. In any tasks she tries to find a “hero” and reveal the theme/main idea through this person. Katya's artworks can be called minimalistic, because she prefers a short capacious shapes, and quite often to uses limited palette in her works. Also the artworks can be called ironic because Katya has experience in children book illustration where it’s the best method to show some serious things in funny way.

She was invited in Global Artist Committee of Asian Art Association in August 2022.

Bernard Abraham Gloom

In 2018 we created the creative association Bernard Abraham Gloom (author Anna Klimova and artist Katya Klimova).

Our first comic book"Mister Valentine". It's comic book about a invisible man and a vampire who investigate the mysterious disappearances of supernatural creatures. The comic book has been published by Comics Publisher in 2020 year. Own second comic book "Count McAlister's Diaries" has been published by Comics Publisher in 2021 year.
