ABOUT

Hu Te is currently a voice teacher in the Vocal Department of the school of music and dance of Hainan University. Member of Western returned scholars association.

She studied for a Performance Diploma in voice performance at Boston university. She received her Master of music degree from Longy school of music of Bard College and graduated from The Capital Normal university Bachelor of music program.

She was commented by Boston Classical Magazine: an unforgettable voice will have a brilliant opera career.

She was invited to join Global Artists Committee of Asian Art Association in September 2021.

Competition

In February 2010, she won the second prize of the 5th Hong Kong International Art Festival vocal music competition; In August 2011, she won the special Gold Award for vocal music and the Bronze Award for Recitation in the national finals of the 8th China Youth art talent selection activity; In June 2012, she won the gold award of vocal music professional youth group and recitation professional youth group in Beijing division Chinese culture and the four places across the Taiwan Strait Art Festival; In May 2014, she won the honorable award in American NATs International Vocal Music Competition; In February 28, 2018, she won the first place in the vocal music professional group of the 'grand prize virtuoso' International Music Competition in Vienna; In July 17, 2018, she won the first prize in the finals of the young artists group of the Korean Chinese piano vocal music competition.

Performance

During her study in the United States, she was invited and participated in a large number of performances and music festivals, covering Europe and America. In 2014, she went to Salzburg, Austria with the University of Miami to participate in the performance activities of Salzburg Summer Music Festival. In 2015, she joined the summer opera season of Ash Lawn opera house in the Charlotteville ofUnited States and played Suzuki in the opera Madame Butterfly and the musical my fair lady; From 2016 to 2017, she was selected by the Opera institute of Boston University to participate in the performance of the Midsummer night dream, play the role of Queen Hippolyta and Le nozze di Figaro, and play Marcellina. In the summer of 2016, she became the only Chinese opera singer qualified for the Ising international young singer program through the audition in New York, and participated in opera training and performance activities; In the summer of 2017, she was invited to perform a series of opera concerts at the Prague Summer Music Festival. Play the role of Marcellina of Le Nozze di Figaro at the Prague opera house and the Salzburg Mozart concert hall. As an international student in the United States, she was selected into master classes for many times, such as Stephanie Blythe, a world-famous Mezzo Soprano;Helen Donath, a distinguished soprano, and Alan Smith, art director of the Metropolitan Opera House, which were carefully guided and praised by the masters. On February 10, 2019, she was invited to attend Wiener musikseminar at University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. At the same time, she also served as the vocal art director and piano accompaniment of the Boston Musicians Association.

From 2018 to 2019, she worked in the Performing Arts Center of the Central Conservatory of music as an opera singer, during this time she performed a series of music and art promotion concerts such as music party classes and art lectures in various provinces and cities across the country; In October 2018, she participated in the large live-action opera "Turandot" produced by the Central Conservatory of music, which was highly praised by the audiences; In April 2019, she participated in opera "La traviata" in Beijing East Ring hall and played the role of flora, which was highly praised by the audiences again; In November 2019, she performed the Chinese opera "mourning the death" and played the role of a female narrator singer in the east ring Hall of Beijing. On October 1, 2019, she participated in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the people's Republic of China and offered a blessing to her mother in Tiananmen Square. In August 2020, she was invited into the opera summer program in Suzhou, China, and played the role of Jiao mu in the Chinese opera Savage land. In 2021, a concert tour with the theme of "the most beautiful song for you" was launched to offer a blessing for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, and won the "excellent stage art works (music, song and dance) celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China". From August 2019 to May 2021, as a soloist, she performed nearly 40 concerts of "I love Beijing" with Beijing Opera and dance theater in Beijing Concert Hall and Beijing A33 theater, which was praised by the audiences.
