The purpose of this drawing is to highlight the damage caused by humans by throwing rubbish into our seas. This act hurts our marine animals such as turtles and fishes as they might mistakenly eat rubbish they thought are their food. ‘This caused the marine animals to become sick and eventually die. The cycle goes on as we consume fish too, it could be bad for our healths due to the toxic chemicals produced by the waste thrown into the sea. Also marine animals such as beavers almost went extinct by the 1800s due to over hunting. These decreases the wetlands and standing water which is important for our ecosystems. Lastly, the over usage of disposable plastics affects both teh environment and people’s health as plastics are hard to manage and dispose of. (Let Color Soar, SG)
